Track Descriptions

Summit attendees will have a choice between three tracks, depending on their church's needs and previous involvement (if any) in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Exploring

As you prayerfully consider the opportunities for your church to have an impact among the nations in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Exploring track will provide needed insight about the various possibilities. Whether you feel led to engage one of the 400+ unreached, unengaged people groups or drawn to partner with one of our missionary teams, you will have opportunities to meet missionaries, hear current strategies, and discuss details of how your church will have an impact. And, you will walk away with vivid images of faces representing millions who have not yet had the opportunity to hear the Good News.

Equipping

For those churches who are serving or will soon begin serving in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Base Camps will equip you to effectively engage an unreached, unengaged people group. In Base Camp I, we discuss making preparations in the U.S. to effectively evangelize and disciple in a culturally relevant way. It is specifically designed to prepare you and your teams well before setting foot on African soil. In Base Camp II, we explore best practices for leadership development, grouping, church formation and exit strategy.

Expanding

For the"veteran" churches serving in Sub-Saharan Africa, this track is designed to help you expand and enhance your strategies that include human need ministry, oral storying, students ministering in elder-led societies, people group research in US cities, and contingency training.
