Details of the forum:In 2005, the first “Engaging Church” completed one of what would be many trips to an unreached people group in southern Senegal. Since that time, over 150 churches have joined the effort to strategically engage people groups in Sub-Saharan Africa who had yet to hear the Gospel. Through your persistence, sacrifice, and obedience, indigenous, reproducible churches have been planted. It is time to gather together via the web to not only celebrate what God is doing among your people and your church, but it is also a great time to share with one another about our experiences. This forum (the third of six 2012 Forum webinars offered every other month) will begin at 11:00 a.m. EST.Register by May 14th at http://westafrica.imb.org/surveys/survey.cfm?su_id=271
The topics to be addressed during this hour:
- Mobilizing others to join us
- The importance of contingency plans
Base Camps are training and networking conferences for churches who’ve already committed to serve in Sub-Saharan Africa. They’re great opportunities to hear testimonies of God’s work and pick up practical suggestions and new ministry techniques. Typical workshop seminars include: discipleship, leadership training; cultural insights; and more.
